About The Position

The Cage Cashier is responsible for cashing vouchers, checks, change, chips and tracking all MTL-MIL transactions. This role involves performing money transactions such as cashing tickets, currency for currency or redemption of chips/tokens, and efficiently handling large volumes of cash. The Cage Cashier is also expected to develop and maintain a friendly rapport with customers and staff, inform customers about daily promotions, keep the work area clean and supplies stocked, and be responsible for following Title 31 reporting requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Cash handling experience
• Customer service experience
• Ability to multitask and work as part of the team.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written and oral instructions.
• Ability to interact effectively with the public and Team Members.
• Ability to count back change accurately and efficiently.
• Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D.
• All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
