About The Position

The Cage Cashier performs and records cash transactions to support casino gaming operations. This role includes the preparation of daily reports on revenues and player tracking systems, and requires the display of excellent customer service. The position is responsible for all customer transactions, including currency exchanges, redemption of tickets, coin, chips, and promotional vouchers. The Cage Cashier also verifies the bank at the beginning and end of each shift, acknowledges guests promptly, performs even money exchanges, verifies currency of $20.00 and higher for authenticity, ensures completion of all required forms, and performs chip fills and jackpot payouts upon request. Adherence to regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, as well as the Casino Internal Control Structure (ICS), is mandatory. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • A minimum of six months of job-related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate Hospitality Behaviors and Performance Standards.
  • Understanding of where to find information needed to complete tasks to standard.
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate technical skills used to complete tasks to standard.
  • Ability to explain or demonstrate behavioral values or standards needed to complete tasks to standard.

  • Complete knowledge of IMGR&C products and services.

  • Professionally supports IMGR&C reputation and image in all situations, on and off property.

  • Required to work all Marketing Special Events and Concerts.
