About The Position

This position involves the preparation, cooking, prepping, and serving of food in large quantities. The role requires some knowledge of special dietary requirements and general knowledge of the practices used in receiving and storing food in large quantities. The worker will perform functions of other nutritional service positions as requested by the manager, report needed supplies and equipment malfunctions, and serve the appropriate number of food items to meet mandates from the USDA/Food Service office/cafeteria manager.
