About The Position

This role is responsible for cleaning, stocking, and serving food in the cafeteria, maintaining a clean and organized environment, managing stock levels, serving food according to guidelines, and operating a cash register with accurate money handling. The Nutrition department at Freeman serves over 1,000 people daily and employs over 150 individuals across various service levels, also executing hospital and community catering. They foster a strong culture of mentoring and growth for career advancement.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Cleans, stocks, and serves food in the cafeteria
• Maintains and cleans a well-organized cafe environment for visitors and staff
• Maintains par levels of stock for all cafe related items
• Serves food in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies
• Operates a cash register and is responsible for the correct handling of all monies
