About The Position

Open from 6:00am-9:00 Sunday thru Saturday, the Daily Grind offers a fast-paced, engaging work environment with peer team support. We offer a wide variety of food and beverages including espresso, coffee, scones, dessert, and more! We serve over 14,000 Frappuccino’s a year!

Requirements

• Ability to take orders from customers and expedite coffee-espresso drinks and related food and beverage items.
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines for food handling.
• Awareness of minimum standards for a quality food service operation.
• Adherence to standard recipe guidelines.
• Accuracy in assembling orders.
• Ability to maintain par stocks and rotate product.
• Friendly and courteous interaction with customers and employees.
• Ability to maintain accurate production par levels of all food, drinks and general supplies.
• Ability to accurately enter orders into the POS devise and accept cash and charge payments.
• Understanding of cash drawer overage/shortage standards.
• Adherence to all sanitization guidelines.
• Maintenance of a safe work area and safe equipment usage.
• Ability to prepare beverage orders using standard measurements, recipes & drink codes with 100% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to standard recipe guidelines.
• Ensuring accuracy of all assembled orders, maintaining par stocks, and rotating product for maximum quality.
• Interacting with customers and other employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Maintaining accurate production par levels of all food, drinks and general supplies in the Daily Grind.
• Entering orders accurately into the POS devise, accepting cash and charge payments. Ensuring that the cash drawer follows overage/shortage standards.
• Ensuring all sanitization guidelines are followed and maintained during shift.
• Maintaining a safe work area & practicing safe equipment usage.
• Preparing beverage orders for customers using standard measurements, recipes & drink codes, with 100% accuracy.
