About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafeteria Night Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our cafeteria during night shifts (5pm-1am / Monday - Thursday and alternating Fridays), ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during night shifts, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to all standards and protocols.
• Must be willing to be "hands-on" even as a supervisor.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to meet the demands of night operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate cafeteria staff to develop their skills and enhance productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, staff schedules, and other operational activities.
• Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures that improve service quality and efficiency.
