About The Position

This position is for a Cafeteria Manager within the Clay County School Food Service. The role requires a high school graduate or equivalent with specific experience in school food service or related fields. A Certified Professional Food Manager Certification is mandatory, along with successful completion of or ability to pass a Food Service Management Training Course. All prospective employees must undergo a Level 2 background check, including fingerprinting and checks against criminal history records, sexual predator, and sexual offender registries.

Requirements

• High school graduate or have passed the G.E.D. equivalency examination.
• Two years successful full-time experience in Clay County School Food Service or verified and accepted related experience.
• Possess State of Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Certified Professional Food Manager Certification.
• Must have successfully completed, with minimum of 80% accuracy, the Food Service Management Training Course as administered by the Clay County School Food & Nutrition Services Department or be able to complete a post-test with 80% accuracy.
• All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
• The background check will include, but is not limited to, fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
