About The Position

This position is for a Paraprofessional/ SPED Self Contained Instructional Aide at Montana Vista Elementary, available for the 2026-2027 School Year. The closing date for applications is September 9, 2026, at 12 Noon. The daily rate ranges from $117.20 to $142.08, and the position involves 187 work days at 8 hours per day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (48 college credit hours) or Associate's degree (or higher)
• Must apply and obtain a Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (upon hire)
• Must be able to lift 50-150 pounds
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with parents, co-workers, and students
• Ability to work well with children with disabilities
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work well under supervision
• Ability to use computer and be familiar with word, excel, access, and e-mail systems
• Copy of High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Transcripts with (48) hours or more from an accredited college or university
• Copy of driver's license
• Current Resume
