About The Position
The Cafeteria Attendant ensures guests start their day with a clean, welcoming environment and a well-stocked, fresh food selection. The role combines food preparation, guest service, and area maintenance.
Requirements
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Some food preparation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and replenish food items for breakfast & lunch to ensure all items are fresh and attractively displayed.
- Greet colleagues warmly, answer any food-related questions, and assist with needs.
- Keep tables, counters, and equipment clean; follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures.
- Monitor food and beverage stock, restock supplies, and report shortages or equipment issues.
- Clean and sanitize the cafeteria area after service, store leftover food properly, and dispose of waste according to hotel policy.
