About The Position

The Cafeteria Aide works in person at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Westborough, Massachusetts. This is a full-time weekday role scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with pay of $16 to $18.75. The role supports cafeteria operations by handling register transactions, preparing and closing food areas, maintaining cleanliness, following sanitation and infection-control procedures, and communicating supply needs to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend recipes and menus.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations and handle money.
• Visual acuity to assess cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register, make change, and accurately reconcile daily receipts.
• Set up and break down all food areas.
• Keep cafeteria seating and serving areas clean and orderly.
• Follow sanitation guidelines authorized by the DPH and Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
• Inform the supervisor about supply needs.
