We’re hiring a Cafe Attendant to join our culinary team supporting the Tampa Bay Rays in Port Charlotte, FL. Seasonal full-time & part-time roles available | $20–$22/hr based on experience. You'll keep the performance dining area running smoothly — clean, stocked, and delivering top-tier hospitality for professional athletes.

Requirements

2 to 3 years customer service experience
Excellent hospitality skills, professional demeanor, and a service-first attitude
Extreme attention to detail
Ability to anticipate client needs and fulfill them
Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices, and culinary skills

Nice To Haves

Back of the house (BOH) kitchen experience preferred
Understanding of nutrition and performance based food preferred
Banquet or catering serving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide "Best in Class" hospitality for our high-profile client, including excellent manners and interpersonal skills
Manage an exceptional visual presentation and cleanliness in food service area
Sweep, mop, scrub as needed, as well as clean floors, shelves, surfaces, equipment, etc.
Check and refill all supplies that clients use daily
Assist kitchen and BOH as needed, this may include prep work and dishwashing
Communicate all needs through the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Cover and date food when storing to ensure freshness and safety
Ensure hot food temperatures are within safe range and records temps
