About The Position

KitchFix is seeking a Cafe Attendant to join their culinary team supporting the Tampa Bay Rays in Port Charlotte, FL. This role is responsible for keeping the performance dining area running smoothly, ensuring it is clean, stocked, and delivering top-tier hospitality for professional athletes. This is a seasonal, full-time or part-time position with competitive pay.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years customer service experience
• Excellent hospitality skills, professional demeanor, and a service-first attitude
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to anticipate client needs and fulfill them
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe sanitary practices, and culinary skills

Nice To Haves

• Back of the house (BOH) kitchen experience preferred
• Understanding of nutrition and performance based food preferred
• Banquet or catering serving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide "Best in Class" hospitality for our high-profile client, including excellent manners and interpersonal skills
• Manage an exceptional visual presentation and cleanliness in food service area
• Sweep, mop, scrub as needed, as well as clean floors, shelves, surfaces, equipment, etc.
• Check and refill all supplies that clients use daily
• Assist kitchen and BOH as needed, this may include prep work and dishwashing
• Communicate all needs through the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
• Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Cover and date food when storing to ensure freshness and safety
• Ensure hot food temperatures are within safe range and records temps
