About The Position

We are a small, community-focused café serving high-quality coffee alongside fresh salads, sandwiches, soups, and breakfast and lunch options. We pride ourselves on friendly service, consistency, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cafe 333 Supervisor to join our team. This role combines front-of-house service and kitchen preparation, requiring someone who is comfortable multitasking while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a barista and/or cook preferred
  • Valid MAPAQ (food safety) certification required
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation and basic kitchen skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Expert level, spoken French and Intermediate. The employee in this position will interact 20% of the time with tenants who understand and communicate only in English.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages
  • Prepare and assemble fresh menu items (salads, sandwiches, soups, breakfast and lunch dishes)
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Take customer orders and process payments (POS system)
  • Restock ingredients and supplies
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
