About The Position

This role involves scanning 3D-printed anatomical bone models, processing the scanned data, and creating SolidWorks assemblies. The CAD Technician will also prepare files for CNC milling, support manufacturing operations, and manage digital files in a Windows environment. The position requires exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Requirements

High School Diploma
3+ years of related experience
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience as a CAD operator/designer
Experience with CAM programming with MasterCAM or SurfCAM
Familiarity with Scanners: 3D Peel, Keyence or other similar data acquisition cameras
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

Scan 3D-printed anatomical bone models using a Peel handheld scanner to capture digital mandibular surface data.
Post-process scanned data into mesh formats and export files as STEP and/or IGES for downstream use.
Create and manage SolidWorks assemblies composed of multiple components from imported scanned files.
Accurately align and constrain components using coincident and angular mates within assemblies.
Modify part geometry within assemblies, including creating surface indentations using SolidWorks tools.
Prepare and transmit IGES files for CNC milling program development.
Support manufacturing and production floor activities as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Manage and organize digital files within a Windows-based environment in a fast-paced setting.
