About The Position
Precision ProFile, Inc. is looking to hire an Entry-Level CAD Technician interested in growing skills in GPS Modeling & Heavy Construction Estimating. Precision ProFile Inc. is a small, growing business located in southern Maine. We provide professional services inclusive of heavy construction estimating services and developing construction site GPS Models for companies nationwide. The applicant will be trained to be proficient in the use of AutoCAD software to develop models for construction sites (Highways, commercial sites, subdivisions, airports, etc.).
Requirements
- Must be Self-Motivated, Reliable, Responsible, and Professional.
Nice To Haves
- Helpful Backgrounds Include CAD design, Excavation, Land Surveying, 3D Modeling, and Engineering Backgrounds (but not required).
Responsibilities
- Train to Read and Understand Civil Engineering Plans.
- Develop Skills to Create 3D Surface Models of Heavy Construction Job Sites.
- Learn AutoCAD and other various CAD/Design software.
- Learn how to effectively calculate quantities for construction site bidding.
- Work in teams to complete projects in a timely manner.
