About The Position
We are hiring for a PAA-based project, seeking candidates with strong hands-on experience in CAD modeling and simulation tools. This role is ideal for experienced aerospace, mechanical, and electrical engineering professionals with deep expertise in design, CAD engineering, and simulation workflows.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in CAD engineering and simulation tools
- Candidates must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience working in CAD engineering and simulation-focused organizations
- Strong aerospace/mechanical/electrical engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with modeling, simulation, or design projects
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in the following tools as per their domain: - Mechanical: FreeCAD, CalculiX, Gmsh, ParaView, Python, Cura/PrusaSlicer - Electrical: KiCad, ngspice, Qucs-S, Python, Octave, FEMM, openEMS - Aerospace: OpenRocket, OpenVSP, XFoil, AVL, OpenFOAM/SU2, FreeCAD, Python
Nice To Haves
- PHD in Mech, Elec, Aero domains
- Prior experience working with leading aerospace or engineering companies is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop CAD models and perform simulation/analysis for aero, mech, and elec components
- Validate designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB)
- Translate technical requirements into simulation models and workflows
- Optimize designs based on simulation results
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Document methodologies, processes, and outcomes
