CAD Programmer

About The Position
This position is responsible to program the CAD machines that automatically cut upholstery fabric.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience with CAD program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and computer aided design systems related to pattern designs
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, etc.
Responsibilities
- Pull rolls fabric off of buggies and place on table.
- Assist CAD Cutter in loading and unloading fabric.
- Measure fabric (width and repeat).
- Input measurements into the CAD program in order to set up a marker for the CAD operator to use.
- Assist in pulling COM Fabric from the bins.
- Work off the production work ticket to cut fabric to standard.
- Verify that fabric being cut matches the ticket.
- Work with Product Development on new styles and specs to put in the Lectra Program.
- Work with Product Development with new product introductions.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
