About The Position

The CAD Operator prepares, modifies, and refines computer-aided designs and models to support production and project requirements. This onsite position is located in St. Paul, Minnesota, and offers an annual pay range of $60,000–$70,000. The role creates and edits complex CAD designs, interprets design specifications, and modifies existing designs as needed. It uses CAD software to design, analyze, and simulate projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines. The CAD Operator works with cross-functional teams, troubleshoots technical issues, and provides support to team members.

Requirements

Experience working in Mechanical Design.
Experience creating dies.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in CAD software and ability to learn new programs.
Strong understanding of design principles and drafting techniques.
Strong spatial reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in drafting, CAD, or a similar field.
