About The Position

Transforms initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents. Reviews engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Associate's degree in a related area.
• Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.
• Ability to direct and lead the work of others.
• Ability to work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD/Autodesk.
• Experience with design of high voltage substations.
• Experience or familiarity with a document management system.
• Experience reading/deciphering construction field revisions and incorporating them into CAD drawings.
