  • 10+ years of experience in CAD/EDA automation or semiconductor design
  • Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, shell, or equivalent)
  • Experience with verification flow automation or ASIC design methodology
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools (synthesis, P&R, simulation, signoff)
  • Experience implementing continuous integration workflows in a hardware design context

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. in relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience with advanced node technologies (7nm or below)
  • Background in regression infrastructure and job scheduling tools (e.g., LSF, Grid Engine, Slurm)
  • Knowledge of cloud-based EDA solutions and distributed computing
  • Understanding of DevOps principles applied to hardware design
  • Experience with mixed-signal or RF design flow automation
  • Familiarity with hardware design data management systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to streamline ASIC design and verification workflows
  • Implement and improve continuous integration systems for ongoing design validation
  • Build and maintain regression infrastructure for functional verification and physical design sign-off
  • Automate repetitive tasks across synthesis, place-and-route, simulation, and signoff flows
  • Work closely with design and verification engineers to identify productivity bottlenecks and develop targeted automation solutions
  • Maintain and enhance job scheduling and workload management systems
  • Develop metrics dashboards to track design progress, compute utilization, and flow health
  • Contribute to the development of regression testing frameworks for CAD flow validation
