About The Position

Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks that would take an expert 10–15 hours. Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts. Work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build. This is a freelance opportunity with project workloads estimated at around 10–20 hours per week during active phases; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active. Contributors can earn up to $9 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies across projects based on scope, complexity, and required expertise.

Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling experience.
• An active professional CAD licence of your own.
• Comfort with Python and GitHub.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Nice To Haves

• A Master's or PhD.
• Experience preparing geometry for simulation, such as with ANSYS or similar.
• Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or similar CAD software.
