About The Position

Help train and evaluate AI agents working inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks that would take an expert 10–15 hours. Design part geometry, build reference solutions, and assess the agents’ attempts. Work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build. This is a freelance opportunity that can be performed fully remotely on your own schedule. During active project phases, tasks are estimated to require around 10–20 hours per week; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active. Contributors can earn up to $69 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies by project scope, complexity, and required expertise. The opportunity also includes participation in performance-based bonus programs that reward high-quality work and consistent delivery.

Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or similar.
• An active professional CAD licence of your own.
• Comfort with Python and GitHub.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Nice To Haves

• A Master's or PhD.
• Experience preparing geometry for simulation using ANSYS or similar.
