About The Position

This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your career in data centers and network infrastructure, working on large-scale builds. You will be responsible for installing and routing various types of cabling, performing terminations, and supporting data center builds both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• 1+ year of commercial cabling experience
• Experience with structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6)
• Experience with punch-downs and terminations
• Experience with cable installation and routing
• Basic understanding of fiber optic cabling
• Ability to read blueprints and project specs
• Knowledge of communications color codes
• Reliable transportation to job sites

Nice To Haves

• Fiber pulling experience
• Network equipment familiarity
• Data center or large commercial build experience

Responsibilities

• Install and route Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
• Pull and terminate cables, including 110/66 blocks and patch panels
• Perform rack & stack installations and build out network closets
• Install cable trays, conduit, and wireways in commercial environments
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Support data center builds both indoors and outdoors
• Use hand and power tools (drills, cutters, compression tools, etc.)
