The Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician is responsible for the day-to-day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work, and capacity management. This technician will also be involved with the installation of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, and the physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices. This position requires the successful candidate to report to a site location and work in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of next-generation networks. The role involves assisting in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale the network, launching cutting-edge server technologies, and solving diverse networking impairments. The technician will quickly and accurately assess a wide range of infrastructure issues, requiring a good understanding of computers, servers, switches, and various networking devices from both a hardware and software perspective, along with a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. Success in this role requires technical aptitude, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to deal effectively with people in various situations. Additionally, strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability are essential, along with the capacity to exercise high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy.
