About The Position

This role involves interpreting cable maps and labels, installing and securing network and server equipment in racks, pulling and routing fiber trunks, and managing cable pathways to ensure organized and standards-compliant installations. The position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship within a data center or telecommunications environment.

Requirements

6+ months of experience in data center or commercial cabling
Experience with structured cabling and fiber installation.
Ability to follow technical documentation and labeling standards.
Familiarity with data center or telecommunications environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Interpret Cable Maps & Labels: Accurately read and understand cable maps, labeling systems, and documentation to ensure proper routing and installation.
Rack & Stack Equipment: Install, secure, and organize network and server equipment within racks and cabinets according to industry and site standards.
Fiber Installation: Pull, route, and stage fiber trunks (including 144‑count and 288‑count bundles), as well as install and manage patch cords for connectivity.
Cable Dressing & Pathway Management: Properly dress and secure cabling to match the designated pathway type, such as basket tray or fiber runner systems, ensuring clean, organized, and standards‑compliant installations.
