About The Position

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Rock, AR. The role involves installing and maintaining network infrastructure, including laying wire, installing equipment, and completing connections. The technician will work both inside and outside data centers, operating various tools and equipment. The company is a leading provider of business and technology services, accelerating business transformation for its customers.

Requirements

• Network equipment experience
• Cat6 termination
• Fiber knowledge
• Cable, Cabling, Cat6, Rack and stack, Punchdown, Cat5, Cable installation, Structured cabling

Responsibilities

• Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices
• Build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware)
• Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required
• Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
• Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling
• Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)
