About The Position

This is a minimum of a 1-year Data Center Build out project. The role involves working both inside and outside the building to construct data centers. The company is looking for hardworking individuals. The initial hours are Monday-Friday 6:45 am-3:45 am, with a potential shift to 10-hour days.

Requirements

Cat6
Punchdown
Cable installation
Screwdriver (regular and Phillips)
Drywall saw
Torpedo level
Tape measure
Snips (with belt sheath)
Pliers (needle nose and channel locks)
Hammer
Cable stripper
Flashlight
Gloves
Able to lift 40lbs
Valid driver's license
Must possess and be proficient with the listed tools

Nice To Haves

Willing to travel to another site in Ohio or Iowa for 3-6 weeks for training. $50/day per diem.

Responsibilities

Pull cable
Assist Tech 2
Run and handle materials
Utilize hand/ power tools
Climb ladders
Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices
Build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware)
Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required
Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling
Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)
