This is a minimum of a 1-year Data Center Build out project. The role involves working both inside and outside to build out data centers. The company is looking for hard-working individuals. The initial hours are Monday-Friday 6:45 am-3:45 am, but this may change to 10-hour shifts. The position requires the ability to pull cable, assist with running and handling materials, and utilize hand and power tools. Responsibilities include climbing ladders, laying out and installing wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles, and other devices. The role also involves building closets by mounting and installing backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware, and installing grounding for racks, equipment, and cable as required. Completing all IDC connections, such as terminating 110/66 blocks and patch panels, is also a key responsibility. The technician will pull wire and/or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling. Operation of tools and equipment normally requiring two hands, such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jackhammers, is expected. The company will prioritize hiring technicians from the Temple area (within a 40-mile radius). Candidates must be willing to travel to other sites in Ohio or Iowa for 3-6 weeks for training. A per diem of $50/day will be provided during travel.
