About The Position

The Cabinets-Finisher/Cleaner will be responsible to sand, file, clean and inspect cabinets. This position will also be responsible with construction and installation of shelving, vents and hardware, beading of cabinets, paint touch up, training of employees, along with helping other departmental employees, adhering to production schedule while maintaining a quality product. This position requires frequent interaction with a variety of significant internal and external customers and is an active member of the Life Line Emergency Vehicle Team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical training in related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Sand, file, clean and inspect cabinets
  • Construction and installation of shelving, vents and hardware
  • Beading of cabinets
  • Paint touch up

  • Mechanical aptitude to include power and/or air tools
  • Run/or ability to learn to run, sander, router, and other equipment as assigned
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with carpentry processes
  • Problem solve and make decisions
  • Ability to teach other employees processes
  • Good finish work skills; attention to detail
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Inspect finished products during manufacturing
  • Apply quality assurance techniques
  • Meet or exceed cost reduction goals
  • Understand manufacturing methods and techniques
  • Knowledgeable of Life Line product and materials needed for production
  • Work closely with Engineering staff
  • Meet deadlines
  • Work with and assist other production personnel
  • Work closely with parts department on items needed
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
