As a Finisher, your primary responsibility is to support the mission and Core Values of HGC by finishing and packaging quality parts according to customer and HGC requirements. This includes maintaining efficiency, ensuring accurate documentation, supporting production operations, and contributing to 100% quality and on-time delivery for all customers.

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience is a plus.
  • A strong willingness to learn new processes and procedures will help the individual be successful at HGC.

Responsibilities

  • Record keeping on the factory order.
  • Removal of waste material from cut parts (collect cut parts out of material trim, remove internal scrap from parts manually, remove “flash,” proper placement of cartons used to house parts, and stack and identify generated material).
  • Consistently meet efficiency goals per factory order.
  • Constantly monitor for quality results, paying attention to detail and reporting any defects.
  • Process ink stamp part identification when designated.
  • Completes customer packaging and assists with packaging of parts for shipping according to customer and HGC guidelines.
  • Designated to apply coatings or adhesives.
  • Completes lamination of die-cut parts.
  • Completes application of various inserts.
  • Verifies part counts on all factory orders, including orders from other departments.
  • Ensures the work area is clean and tidy.
  • Follows safety guidelines at all times
  • Assist operators with orders by catching and/or moving gaskets.
  • Helps mentor new employees as needed.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and performing other duties as needed and/or assigned.
