About The Position

Great Floors is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Cabinet Sales Professional/Consultant to support our Nampa, Idaho location. In this role, you will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth while upholding our company's high standards of service and quality. This is a front-line business driver responsible for owning builder and contractor relationships, driving revenue growth, managing projects from bid through completion, and delivering best-in-class customer experience. You sit at the center of the business — sales, operations, and execution. With strong performance, this role creates a path to market leadership opportunities and expansion into larger regional and national builder accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven sales performer, at least two years in the construction or new homebuilding industry.
  • Familiar with popular cabinet lines and hardware.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and highly accountable.
  • Comfortable owning the full cycle: prospect, bid, close, execute, and retain.
  • Motivated by growth and opportunity — not maintenance.
  • Ability to present and articulate points clearly and effectively.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Must consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent basic math skills.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with builder personnel and field team members.
  • Punctual and reliable attendance.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
  • Build and maintain professional working relationships.

  • Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through proactive outreach and job site presence.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including builder personnel, contractors, designers, and vendor partners.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact to address client needs and cultivate lasting partnerships.
  • Lead site visits, pre-construction meetings, and ongoing communication.
  • Create proposals and manage project execution.
  • Coordinate with estimating, operations, support, and installation teams.
  • Assist in the sales process by identifying leads, preparing presentations, and supporting the sales closing process.
  • Work towards meeting personal and team sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to share market insights and ensure smooth execution of client projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Great Floors’ offerings (flooring, cabinetry, countertops, window treatments, backsplashes) and connect with industry professionals.
  • Leverage national buying power and vendor agreements.
  • Provide regular updates to the VP of Builder Sales and Branch Manager on progress with leads and market intelligence to support continuous improvement strategies.
  • Achieve performance numbers consistent with or above others in the same region.
