About The Position

Kitchen Tune-Up of Grand Rapids is a locally owned kitchen and bath remodeling company hiring a full-time installer for a steady pipeline of sold work across West Michigan. The installer primarily performs installations independently, with support from a field supervisor and office team who coordinate schedules, materials, and customers. Work is indoors. Pay is $25–$35 per hour based on experience, with the top of the range intended for a lead-level installer and a pay increase after 90 days.

Requirements

Cabinet installation and refacing experience; demonstrated ability and drive are valued over a specific number of years.
Proficiency in cutting and installing crown molding.
Own tools and reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to pass a background check.
Pride in finish quality and in treating customers well in their homes.

Nice To Haves

Tile, drywall, light electrical, or flooring skills; these are welcome but not required.
Interest or potential to grow into advanced installation work and leadership.

Responsibilities

Install new kitchen and bath cabinets from start to finish.
Perform cabinet refacing, including doors, drawer fronts, and veneer.
Cut and install crown molding.
Drill for and install hardware, roll-out trays, and accessories.
Use a table saw, miter saw, router, and nail gun in daily work.
Arrive on time wearing a logoed shirt, keep the jobsite clean, and leave customers satisfied.
