About The Position

Kitchen Tune-Up of Grand Rapids is hiring a full-time installer for kitchen and bath remodeling projects across West Michigan. The role primarily involves working independently on indoor installations, with scheduling, materials, and customer coordination supported by a field supervisor and office team. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour based on experience, with a step up after 90 days. The top of the pay range is intended for a lead-level installer. The installer will perform cabinet installation and refacing, finish carpentry, and related work. Candidates should have proven cabinet installation and refacing ability, crown molding proficiency, their own tools, and reliable transportation. Additional skills such as tile, drywall, light electrical, or flooring are welcome but not required. The company describes opportunities to grow into advanced installation work and leadership.

Requirements

Cabinet installation and refacing experience; proven ability and drive matter more than a specific number of years.
Proficiency in cutting and installing crown molding.
Own tools and reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to pass a background check.
Pride in finish quality and in treating customers well in their homes.

Responsibilities

Install new kitchen and bath cabinets from start to finish.
Perform cabinet refacing, including doors, drawer fronts, and veneer.
Cut and install crown molding.
Drill for and install hardware, roll-out trays, and accessories.
Use a table saw, miter saw, router, and nail gun in daily work.
Arrive on time in a logo'd shirt, keep the jobsite clean, and leave customers satisfied.
