Job Description Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Network Communications 3 – C2 Integrator. The C2 Integrator works onsite Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia supporting Navy Surface Warfare Center – Corona (NSWC Corona) in providing Marine Corps LVC training. The person assists with the planning, design, and execution of Marine Corps LVC training events. The position also supports on-site and distributed training events at other sites, as directed. The Specialist position requires interaction with Military, Government and Contractor Leadership. Communication skills are required. The position requires flexibility to work non-standard work hours and work weeks of more than 40 hours to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field or 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Must have experience with military C4I systems’ operational and technical integration and system administration.
  • Candidate must have the ability to recognize and troubleshoot C4I system problems to assure continued execution of war gaming events.
  • Experience in Windows system administration.
  • Knowledge of managing clients in a virtual operating system environment, creating and managing accounts and interactive troubleshooting with users.
  • Must have experience implementing required system upgrades, configuration changes and security patches while maintaining system functionality.
  • Must currently hold and be able to maintain a DoW secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret if required.
  • Well-developed personal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
  • Windows Operating System
  • CompTIA Security + CE (or equivalent or higher).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military service and Systems Administration or knowledge of the following warfighting and simulation systems: MAGTF Tactical Warfare Simulation (MTWS), Joint Tactical Command Workstation (JTCW), Global Command and Control (GCCS), Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), Target Handoff System Version 2 (THSv2), Tactical Control System (TCS), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS).
  • Administer and troubleshoot voice communications systems, as well as Windows and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as NSWC-Corona’s C2 Systems Integrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of LVC training events.
  • Communicate with the LVC Mission Coordinator on any technical or operational issues.
  • Assist the Mission Coordinator (MC) in leveraging LVC capabilities and strategies that align with goals of the training program.
  • Advise the MC on the implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems, so they can ensure that it meets technical standards and training requirements.
  • Assist the Mission Coordinator in working with the Marine Enterprise Training Network (MTEN) and Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) local and remote operators and engineers, and external Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) teams to coordinate and plan systems and personnel support for events.
