About The Position

Support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud-computing environment. Develop and support network fabric and systems. Develop and implement solutions for network issues, safely executing network changes. Participate in network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects. May participate in network solution and architecture design process. Participate in operational rotations as either primary or secondary. Provide break-fix support for events and may serve as escalation point for event remediation. Provide root cause analysis as needed. Develop scripts to automate routine tasks for team. May support network vendor software bug fixes. May telecommute.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of experience in job offered or in a Network Developer-related occupation.
  • Network Architecture and Design – experience with CLOS fabrics to support high-performance compute (HPC) and AI workloads
  • Network operations and on-call experience.
  • Experienced with tools to manage on-call rotations, and provide support
  • Tooling needed to support functions like device inventory, lifecycle state management, automated config push, and change management scheduling
  • Advanced network engineering knowledge
  • Internet Protocol (IP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) – able to interpret, operate, and troubleshoot network traffic flows
  • Internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS and OSPF
  • Network performance analysis – logs and deciphers complex performance flows using tools like tcpdump, and Wireshark
  • Networking operating systems such as EOS, Junos and Cisco IOS
  • Automation via Bash/ Shell scripting Python programming
  • Working in Linux/Unix environment

  • Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
