About The Position

The C-Store Cashier is the face of the store and provides customer service, supports retail sales, and processes point-of-sale transactions to help guests have a positive shopping experience. The role requires a friendly, dependable, customer-focused team member who communicates effectively, multitasks, and stays composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required.

The cashier maintains the appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the store, stocks and cleans the store, and maintains the gas pumps and exterior. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work cards required by the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date. The work environment typically has moderate noise.

• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and address problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
