About The Position
The C-Store Cashier is the face of the store and provides exceptional customer service to help guests have a positive shopping experience. The role includes greeting customers, supporting retail sales, and accurately processing point-of-sale transactions. The cashier also maintains the appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the store, including the gas pumps and the exterior. Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, communicative, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to teamwork and service. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
- Provide any work cards required by the jurisdiction before the start date.
- Valid Health Card.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written communication in English may also be required.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

- Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.
