About The Position

As a Cashier, you are the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest has a positive shopping experience. The role involves customer service, retail sales, and handling point-of-sale transactions. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and contributes positively to a team. Candidates must be able to multitask, remain composed in fast-paced environments, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Able to stand for long periods and stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
• Maintain the store's appearance so it is clean, neat, and organized, and provides a positive shopping experience.
• Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
• Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
