About The Position
This is a part-time position at Jackpot Junction in Morton, MN. The C-Store Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, conducting sales transactions, pricing and displaying merchandise, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. The role involves managing cash drawers, closing out cash at the end of shifts, and communicating customer requests to the C-Store Manager. The position requires sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Requirements
- Previous cash handling experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of sales procedures.
- Knowledge of add-on sales.
- Detail-oriented.
- Math aptitude.
- Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
- Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
- Mobility throughout the facility.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift 20 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail sales experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and conduct sales transactions.
- Price and display merchandise.
- Assist with inventory as needed.
- Open C-Store and check cash drawer.
- Close out cash at end of shift, and return sales to vault.
- Advise C-Store Manager regarding customer requests.
- Clean fountain equipment, tables, bathroom and all customer areas.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
