About The Position

Information Security Corporation, a SAIC company, is seeking an experienced C++ software developer to help build state-of-the-art security software. The position is remote and reports to the Director of Software Development in Oak Park, Illinois. The successful candidate will have at least two years of professional C++ development experience and strong Linux and Windows development skills.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional C++ software development experience.
• At least two years of Linux and Windows software development experience.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully complete a background check are required.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with two or more years of experience, or a master’s degree with zero years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Qt framework and related development tools.
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows internals.
• Experience with cryptography or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Experience with Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in C++.
• Participate in requirements analysis, software design, code reviews, and product reviews.
• Collaborate closely with QA to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Contribute to product architecture and technical design discussions.
