•PLN 125 - PLN 170•Hybrid

About The Position

Optiveum is recruiting and contracting for a C++ Senior Software Engineer to join a project for one of the world’s leading global investment banks, delivered together with a large international IT services company. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimising high-performance, low-latency C++ components for exchange connectivity and algorithmic trading systems that support clients across leading European trading venues. The successful candidate will work full-time in a hybrid model, spending three days per week at the client’s office in Wrocław. Candidates must live in or near Wrocław. The engagement is on a B2B basis, with a rate of 125–170 PLN per hour depending on experience. The engineer will work across the software lifecycle, from analysing trading requirements and delivering functionality to building automated tests and maintaining CI/CD. The role also includes ensuring software quality, security, reliability, and regulatory compliance; monitoring production systems; providing L3 support; and resolving incident root causes. AI-powered tools and MCP-based integrations are used to support everyday work and automate repetitive tasks. The recruitment process includes an interview with the IT services partner followed by one to three interviews with the bank. Technical tasks are conducted live, and candidates should have a programming environment set up and tested in advance. AI tools, coding assistants, and code generators are not allowed during interviews. The selected candidate will undergo an external HireRight background check covering identity, right to work, education, and employment history. The application name and CV must match the candidate’s official ID exactly. Candidates who participated in a recruitment process for the partner or bank within the past 12 months cannot be considered.
