About The Position

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer in JPMorganChase’s Commercial & Investment Bank eTrading team, you will help build, enhance, and deliver secure, stable, scalable, market-leading technology products. You will apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to challenges across technologies and applications, while driving business impact and contributing to an agile team. The role includes technical leadership, production software development, and advancing responsible use of approved AI-assisted engineering tools and automation across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 7 years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced knowledge and demonstrated skills in C and C++.
Experience leading effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for activities such as coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting.
Ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations.
Experience coaching senior engineers or leads on compliant AI usage patterns and controls.
Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines.
Ability to resolve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
Practical cloud-native experience.
Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
