About The Position

ProSidian is seeking a C&SCM Business Process Engineer for a contract position supporting a NNSA contractor in the Aiken, SC area. This role focuses on process engineering, procedure development, and cross-functional integration within the Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM) domain, specifically for Nuclear and Environmental Management clients. The engineer will design and optimize procurement and supply chain processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), integrate cross-functional workflows, and drive efficiency improvements. The position involves creating a comprehensive set of procedures, including process maps, SOPs, forms, templates, and terms and conditions documents. The role also includes developing acquisition lifecycle flowcharts, implementing training, and establishing mechanisms for continuous improvement. The position is hybrid, involving both on-site and virtual work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business, operations, supply chain, public administration, or related field.
• 7+ years business process improvement, process engineering, operational transformation, SOP development, or management consulting experience.
• Experience with procurement, supply chain, contracts, or regulated operations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
• Ability to quickly learn other tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Map current-state and future-state processes.
• Develop SOP architecture.
• Harmonize interdepartmental procedure interfaces.
• Simplify procedures for user comprehension.
• Define process controls, handoffs, roles, inputs, outputs, and decision points.
• Support publication-ready procedure development.
• Design and optimize procurement and supply chain processes.
• Develop SOPs.
• Integrate cross-functional workflows.
• Drive efficiency improvements.
• Design integrated procedures and cross-functional workflows that simplify C&SCM execution and strengthen compliance.
• Identify contract inefficiencies, recommend strategic amendments, and optimize C&SCM performance, cost, compliance, and mission outcomes.
• Establish a communication plan that outlines the frequency and methods of communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct an in-depth review and analysis of the prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws.
• Develop and customize procurement and supply chain procedures.
• Create and update supporting documents, forms, terms, and conditions reflecting the newly developed procedures.
• Develop visually appealing flowcharts demonstrating the acquisition lifecycle.
• Implement support through both virtual and in-person training sessions.
• Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement by regularly collecting feedback and monitoring effectiveness.
• Maintain procedural, form, and terms and conditions compliance resulting from changes to prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws.
