About The Position

ProSidian seeks a C&SCM Business Process Engineer for Program Support on an Exempt 1099 Contract. This role focuses on Process Engineering, Procedure Development & Cross-Functional Integration within the Nuclear and Environmental Management Sector, specifically supporting Savannah River Nuclear Solution’s (SRNS) Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM). The position is hybrid, involving both on-site and virtual work, and is contingent upon contract award. The engineer will design and optimize procurement and supply chain processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), integrate cross-functional workflows, and drive efficiency improvements to strengthen compliance and enhance C&SCM execution. This role is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Senior Consultant / Process Engineer and requires relevant experience in the Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector.

Requirements

  • 7+ years business process improvement, process engineering, operational transformation, SOP development, or management consulting experience.
  • Experience with procurement, supply chain, contracts, or regulated operations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business, operations, supply chain, public administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Map current-state and future-state processes.
  • Develop SOP architecture.
  • Harmonize interdepartmental procedure interfaces.
  • Simplify procedures for user comprehension.
  • Define process controls, handoffs, roles, inputs, outputs, and decision points.
  • Support publication-ready procedure development.
  • Design integrated procedures and cross-functional workflows that simplify C&SCM execution and strengthen compliance.
  • Identify contract inefficiencies, recommend strategic amendments, and optimize Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM) performance, cost, compliance, and mission outcomes.
  • Establish a communication plan that outlines the frequency and methods of communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct an in-depth review and analysis of the prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws.
  • Develop and customize procurement and supply chain procedures.
  • Create and update supporting documents, forms, terms, and conditions reflecting the newly developed procedures.
  • Develop Acquisition Life Cycle Flow Charts visually demonstrating the acquisition life cycle.
  • Implement support through both virtual and in-person training sessions.
  • Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement by regularly collecting feedback and monitoring effectiveness.
  • Maintain procedural, form, and terms and conditions compliance resulting from changes to prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws.
  • Converts complex contract and operational requirements into usable, standardized procedures and process architecture.
  • Cross-functional harmonization of C&SCM procedures with broader SRS processes.
