About The Position

This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree. Internship dates: From August 31st to December 18th 2026. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to support CAE’s Inclusion and Equal Opportunities strategy, with a strong focus on Indigenous Relations. You will contribute to impactful initiatives in community engagement, awareness, reporting, and project coordination.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; French is an asset)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • A strong interest in inclusive workplace practices, equal opportunities, and Indigenous engagement
  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
  • All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal.
  • They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate.
  • All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and communication of Employee Resource Group (ERG) activities and events
  • Contribute to the preparation of key reports such as Employment Equity, Gender Pay Gap, PAIR submission, and other inclusion-related surveys and reports
  • Assist in tracking Indigenous Relations initiatives and preparing updates for internal committees
  • Support internal awareness initiatives related to Indigenous history, cultures, and reconciliation
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for inclusion events, cultural observances, and internal campaigns
