About The Position

This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree. Internship dates: From August 31st to December 18th 2026. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to support CAE’s Inclusion and Equal Opportunities strategy, with a strong focus on Indigenous Relations. You will contribute to impactful initiatives in community engagement, awareness, reporting, and project coordination.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; French is an asset)
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
A strong interest in inclusive workplace practices, equal opportunities, and Indigenous engagement
All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal.
They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate.
All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination, and communication of Employee Resource Group (ERG) activities and events
Contribute to the preparation of key reports such as Employment Equity, Gender Pay Gap, PAIR submission, and other inclusion-related surveys and reports
Assist in tracking Indigenous Relations initiatives and preparing updates for internal committees
Support internal awareness initiatives related to Indigenous history, cultures, and reconciliation
Provide logistical and administrative support for inclusion events, cultural observances, and internal campaigns
