About The Position

This role involves developing embedded firmware for hardware control, integrating with embedded Linux systems, and ensuring the security and reliability of medical devices. The developer will also be responsible for debugging complex systems and integrating firmware with main applications.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ development on microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS) for hardware control (sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM).
• Hands-on with embedded Linux (Yocto) including system integration, boot flow, and device communication.
• Experience in hardware interfacing and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus).
• Knowledge of control systems (PID/feedback loops) and real-time embedded design.
• Familiarity with firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
• Experience in debugging complex systems involving MCU firmware + Linux applications, including fault handling and diagnostics.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of embedded Linux security, containerization (Docker), and system-level integration.
• Exposure to medical standards (e.g., IEC 62304).
• Experience in Medical device development.

Responsibilities
