The Senior Embedded Software Developer will help build the embedded software that is changing the face of the feed industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years working professionally writing software for embedded devices
- Proficient in writing mission-critical C or C++
- Proficient debugging hardware issues
- Experience using an oscilloscope

- Experience with FreeRTOS
- Experience with AWS IoT ecosystem
- Experience working with embedded Linux devices
- Experience working with Yocto
- Python proficiency
- JavaScript proficiency
- Computer vision experience
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded systems.
- Work closely with BinSentry’s hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Write embedded C for microcontrollers using FreeRTOS.
- Drive the embedded Linux project using Yocto and write Python code for the HD line.
- Write power-efficient and reliable/resilient code.
- Conduct system debugging and reliability testing.
- Optimize performance and manage fleet deployments.
- Work across the entire product line, including writing software for brand new hardware projects.
