The Senior Embedded Software Developer will help build the embedded software that is changing the face of the feed industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years working professionally writing software for embedded devices
  • Proficient in writing mission-critical C or C++
  • Proficient debugging hardware issues
  • Experience using an oscilloscope

  • Experience with FreeRTOS
  • Experience with AWS IoT ecosystem
  • Experience working with embedded Linux devices
  • Experience working with Yocto
  • Python proficiency
  • JavaScript proficiency
  • Computer vision experience

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded systems.
  • Work closely with BinSentry’s hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Write embedded C for microcontrollers using FreeRTOS.
  • Drive the embedded Linux project using Yocto and write Python code for the HD line.
  • Write power-efficient and reliable/resilient code.
  • Conduct system debugging and reliability testing.
  • Optimize performance and manage fleet deployments.
  • Work across the entire product line, including writing software for brand new hardware projects.
