About The Position

This role involves developing embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers, focusing on hardware control for sensors, motors, and valves. The position requires hands-on experience with embedded Linux, including system integration and boot flow, as well as hardware interfacing using various communication protocols. The developer will be responsible for debugging complex systems involving both MCU firmware and Linux applications, and will contribute to the integration of the main application (.NET) with firmware and hardware. Experience in medical device development and familiarity with medical standards are preferred.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Embedded C/C++ development on microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS) for hardware control (sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM).
  • Hands-on with embedded Linux (Yocto) including system integration, boot flow, and device communication.
  • Experience in hardware interfacing and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus).
  • Knowledge of control systems (PID/feedback loops) and real-time embedded design.
  • Familiarity with firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
  • Experience in debugging complex systems involving MCU firmware + Linux applications, including fault handling and diagnostics.
  • Experience in Medical device development.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of embedded Linux security, containerization (Docker), and system-level integration.
  • Exposure to medical standards (e.g., IEC 62304).

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded C/C++ firmware on microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS) for hardware control (sensors, motors, valves, ADC/DAC, PWM).
  • Perform hands-on work with embedded Linux (Yocto), including system integration, boot flow, and device communication.
  • Interface with hardware using communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, RS-485, SMBus).
  • Apply knowledge of control systems (PID/feedback loops) and real-time embedded design.
  • Work with firmware architecture, bootloaders, and firmware upgrade mechanisms.
  • Debug complex systems involving MCU firmware + Linux applications, including fault handling and diagnostics.
  • Assist in the integration of the Main application (.NET) with Firmware and Hardware.
