About The Position

This internship is with the C++ Core Services team, which is a cornerstone of the trading system. The team builds core services and libraries to support the next generation of trading platforms across many fixed income asset classes. Interns will build container-based microservices for Tradeweb’s core infrastructure, optimize matching algorithms, or help overhaul trading applications by leveraging principles from distributed systems, high-performance computing, and multithreading. This is high-performance and mission-critical work.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or related field.
• Passion for C++ development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern C++ techniques.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interested in learning real life financial market and technology.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, own issues and solve them to completion.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Python, Typescript and/or Bash scripting is a plus.
