About The Position

WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a BWR Fuel Mover/Supervisor for a 12+ month contract position in Madison, PA. This role is responsible for guiding, assigning, and coordinating refuel floor workers and operations and maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient outage support. The position reports to the on-site management team.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent required
10+ years of experience in a similar position
10 + years of experience in nuclear
The ability to work shifts and overtime as required.
The ability to pass background screening, drug test and be deemed reliable.
Strong communication and team building skills

Responsibilities

Oversee craft personnel to assure all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely, by qualified workers, and following procedures, NRC regulations and the site(s) schedule.
Participate in different aspects of work control coordination, scheduling, and refuel outage activities, to ensure that assigned work is assigned, planned and ready to work.
Communicate and address plant and personnel issues to the appropriate levels of station management. Foster open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to Westinghouse, including site management, INPO, and regulatory agencies.
Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management for assigned employees. Communicate company programs, announcements and policies to assigned employees.
Understand, support, and administer Westinghouse processes, such as the training program, surveillance program, procedure revisions, and CAP to ensure work practices. Identify and support improvement opportunities and development, implementation and performance monitoring of all corporate and site goals.
Safely move nuclear fuel within the reactor core and spent fuel areas.
